At Bradnant we aim to provide not only horse riding and livery facilities, but also a centre for training in all aspects of horse riding, care and management.

To achieve this we have become a BHS Approved Riding and Road Safety Training Centre and also an Outreach Centre for Yale College in Wrexham. These alliances allow us to offer training for BHS Stages, NVQ courses and other short courses, all in association with and guaranteed by recognised teaching and training organisations.

Level 1 NVQ in Horse Care (NPTC City and Guilds)

Level 3 NVQ in Horse Care (NPTC City and Guilds)
Level 2 Certificate in Safe Working in the Equine Industry (NPTC City and Guilds)
Level 2 Health and Safety for those working in the equine industry (Equi Study)
Level 1 Certificate in Equine Skills
Level 2 National Certificate in Horse Care
Level 3 Advanced National Certificate/Advanced National Diploma in Horse Management
British Horse Society Horse Knowledge, Care and Riding Stages 1
British Horse Society Horse Knowledge, Care and Riding Stages 2
British Horse Society Horse Knowledge, Care and Riding Stages 3
British Horse Society Horse Knowledge, Care and Riding Stages 4
British Horse Society Preliminary Teaching Test
British Horse Society Riding and Road Safety Test
British Horse Society Horse Owners Certificate 1-4

All these courses are open to everyone over the age of 16 and are funded by Yale so you don't have to pay course fees. Please note, there is usually a small registration fee for the C&G courses and an exam fee for the BHS courses.
