Our teaching takes place in our floodlit indoor arena on a sand and rubber surface which provides the ideal environment for learning to ride. From time-to-time we may also take lessons on a hack around our 25 acres or use our fields for lessons.
We have a large range of riding ponies and horses - from Gypsy, our Shire mare right down to Polly our Welsh Section A - and you can see some of them pictured in the gallery at the top of the page.
We believe in teaching 1:1 or in small groups - you just don't get enough individual attention in large groups. With that in mind, we always insist on a persons first lesson or two being 1:1 or 1:2 to allow the maximum amount of time to concetrate on getting the basics sorted.
After that, the instructor will advise on whether it's better to continue individual lessons or move into a small group.
At all times learning to ride should be fun!.
