Autumn & Winter Activities

It's going to be a busy time at Bradnant over the next few months! Pony Days, Gymkhana league, Quad Drill training, BHS Ride & Road Safety training and the return of our Dressage League should mean there's something for everyone!

Pony Days:
October 1/2 Term Pony Days.

During October 1/2 term holiday we will be running Pony Days on Tue 25th, Wed 26th and Thu 27th October. 10am until 4pm as usual and don't forget the packed lunch! Call now to book on 01686 441077.
Halloween Special Pony Day on Sunday 30th October

Fun and Games with a Halloween theme! It's Halloween Fancy Dress (prize for the best) but don't forget your riding gear as well!
Christmas Pony Days

Not sure of the dates for these yet but we will be running several Pony Days over the Christmas holiday - check back here for dates...


Gymkhana (Mounted Pony Games) League:

In November we will be starting a Gymkhana Games League. It will run over several months during the Winter on the 1st Sunday of each month (except January 2012 when it will be the 2nd Sunday!).

The league will finish in March and there will be prizes for the league winner and runner-up. The league is open to anyone young or old, but you must be off lead-rein!

Matches will be held from 11am until 2pm on the 1st Sunday. More details and an entry form will be posted online soon but if you are keen to book in call us now on 01686 441077.


Dressage League:

On the 2nd Sunday of every month from 11am during the Winter we will be running a Dressage League. Same rules as last year and all welcome. Dressage tests and entry forms will be online soon. All ages and abilities welcome!


Quad Drill Training:

On the 4th Sunday of every month during the Winter there will be a chance to come and learn and practice Quad Drill. In groups of 4, you can devise and practice routines with the aim being to have a competition between the groups taking part next March.

All ages welcome but you must be off lead-rein. 11am until 2pm and cakes will be provided! Call us to put your name down on 01686 441077.


BHS Ride and Road Safety Training and Test:

We will be holding a BHS Ride and Road Safety Test in March or April 2012 (date to be confirmed) and will be offering training.

Starting in January, Emma who is certified BHS Ride and Road Safety Instructor, will be holding a series of evening training sessions over a period of about 6 weeks culminating in a practice test just before the actual testing day.
